BIG GAME tonight.  Cowboys vs. Packers. Both 10-1 teams. On the NFL Network? Yikes, sucks not everyone can watch this monster matchup.  Terrell Owens numbers should be solid tonight.  Here is our projections:

  • 8 catches
  • 109 yards
  • 1 TD

What do you think?

TO shows little respect for the corners

Terrell Owens News No Comments »

We just ran into this today.  Earlier last week TO was asked if he’d like to meet the Jets cornerback Derrelle Revis. Revis is a rookie corner with a nice vertical.  Owens piped in with this classic comment:

“Who? I don’t know who that it is,” Owens said. “Once I step on the field it doesn’t matter who’s out there. I don’t pay attention to numbers or names. I go out there and I focus on what I’m supposed to do. That’s not a slight on him, or whoever he is. I just go out there and play football.”

I know this was posted after the game was played but I just found it funny.  Terrell DID indeed score in the Jets as well.

Terrell Owens catches 4 touchdowns and plays defense

Terrell Owens News No Comments »

He told us all he would catch 20 on the year.  He is a bit behind that pace but at 4 a game he could catch up in a hurry!!! Our man TO dominated the other day and caught all four Cowboy touchdowns against the Redskins.  They could not stop him, period!

“This is one of the greatest games, really, that I feel like I’ve played in,” said Owens, who finished with eight catches for 173 yards. “Just really me coming through in the clutch.”

The other interesting thing from this game was that Terrell Owens played some defense.  Ok, just one play at the end of the half – but still.  Maybe they can use him as a cover corner or something as well.  Why not? He does everything else.

“They told me not to let anyone get behind me, knock the ball down. I wasn’t going to risk that situation trying to do anything stupid,” Owens said. “Interceptions are really not going to do me any good. I’m not going to try to break any records.”

Owens now has 12 touchdowns which is one behind what he finished with last year.  With 6 weeks to play he very likely could get to that 20 spot!

Terrell Owens News, TerrellOwensClub News No Comments »

The Dallas Cowboys continued to roll, and have continued their set up for the matchup in a couple weeks with the Green Bay Packers, who are also 7-1. The Cowboys and Packers are head and shoulders above all other NFC teams right now.

Dallas took a 21-7 heading into halftime, and a 35-10 heading into the fourth quarter and rolled from their to a 38-17 victory on the road against NFC East rival, Philadelphia.

For Dallas, Tony Romo threw for three touchdowns on 20 of 25 passing, including an interception, and 324 total yards. For the Eagles Donovan McNabb was intercepted twice, threw 1 touchdown, on his 27 of 46 passing, for a total of 264 yards.

Our guy Terrell Owens caught 10 passes, for a game high 174 yards, and a touchdown score.

Dallas travels to New York to take on the Giants next week, before hosting the Redskins, and Jets, before the Packers come to town on November 29th!

T.O. taking on his former team

Terrell Owens News, TerrellOwensClub News No Comments »

You think Terrell Owens will be ready in week 9? His opponent? The same place as his former stopping grounds- Philadelphia, and the Eagles.

T.O.’s team is currently in the lead in the NFC East with a 6-1 record, ahead of the Giants at 6-2, Redskins at 4-3, and Eagles at 3-4. For the Eagles this is a MUST win. A Cowboy win puts them in pretty good shape for a playoff birth before traveling to New York next week, before playing three straight home games.
